Influence in Tenant Commitee

We at DAS have tenant democracy. You have right to get information about DAS finances, condition of the houses and decicions. Tenant committee supervises the tenants' interests and promotes comfortable living.

What is it that tenant committees do?

• promotes comfortable living with a yearly allocation
• supervises tenants' interests in decicion making at DAS
• nominate tenants' representative for board of DAS
• handle tenants' complaints and initiatives
• decides for order regulations
• have meetings when needed

Speak up!

Members for tenant committees are selected in election before the year changes (usually during October). Tenant committee is nominated for one year at the time. Election will be held during autumn in tenants' meeting. The tenant committee is trying to be elected so that different housing areas would be represented widely. Attending tenants'  meetings you can affect things at DAS and at your housing area. So come and join tenants' meetings once you get invitation!

Every tenant is warmly welcome to tenants' meetings. Meetings are nice way to hear about happenings and services on housing areas together with housing information.
