The rents of Domus Arctica Foundation apartments will not be raised for 2024

Domus Arctica Foundation will not raise the rents of its apartments for 2024. The utility fees will be increased by EUR 1/month/tenant place due to the increase in the price of energy. Rents for DAS apartments have been determined on a cost basis in accordance with ARA’s instructions and regulations.

According to the cost principle, tenants may be charged rent for a residential apartment up to the amount required, among other income, to finance rental housing and related premises and to maintain expenses in accordance with good property management.

Increase in the utility fee

Alongside the rent, we charge a monthly utility fee, which includes the tenant’s calculated share of water, electricity and wastewater costs. In those apartments which have water consumption-based billing the utility fee  includes the tenant’s calculated share of electricity costs.

The utility fees will be increased by EUR 1/month/tenant place. We have been able to keep the increase moderate, because our tenants are responsible and save water resources and energy. We encourage tenants to pay attention to energy consumption in the future as well, so that costs remain moderate.

DAS tenants have received a bulletin about 2024 rents via email. The new rent invoices will arrive to the tenants' e-mail/online bank at the beginning of January.
