A shared apartment is a 2-3 room apartment where each resident has their own room. The toilet/bathroom and kitchen are shared with other residents, women and men live in separate shared apartments.
The furnished shared apartment includes basic furniture such as a bed, table, chair and a ceiling lamp. In addition to the oven/stove and fridge/freezer, the kitchen has a microwave and kettle as well as a table and chairs.
DAS has furnished shared apartments in the following buildings:
- At Rantavitikka, DAS Lauri, DAS Eero and DAS Timo
- Near the city in DAS Rovala
- At Kuntotie (near the hospital) DAS IX
The monthly payments at DAS include the basic rent per square meter + the utility fee + the furniture fee.
- Internet connection, laundry and the sauna hours are included in your basic rent.
- The utility fee 23,00€ includes payments for water and electricity (and heating).
- The furniture fee is collected in all furnished apartments and it is 21.00€ a month.
Please note that the minimum rental period is one month. Interns and exchange students have fixed-term contracts. Please remember to state the dates of the internship in the application.
